About me
I am currently working as a Postdoc Researcher at Department of Chemistry, University of Calgary. I am a professional researcher working on electrochemical energy storage in rechargeable batteries and study of their reaction mechanism. Eventual goal is develop better understanding of battery chemistry, improve their charge storage capability and finally reduce the cost per unit energy stored.
I have knowledge of high energy electrochemical energy storage systems, X-ray based advanced characterization techniques and density functional theory, these areas of research are interdisciplinary between chemical engineering, chemistry, and advanced materials.
Research work
Electrochemical energy storage in lithium, sodium-ion and redox flow batteries.
Material characterization by synchrotron radiation based X-ray characterization techniques.
